Who We Are
The OPRIMEE is a start-up focused on developing innovative engineering solutions (Design Engineering), with impact in the fields of Bioeconomy, Circular Economy, Energy and Environment. Its core technology, and the foundation upon which it was established, is the “multi-supply” eco-biorefinery process, the result of over 20 years of research and a commitment to knowledge.
Our mission is to contribute to (1) the lowering of material waste and economic value of energy and mass flows generated in economy and natures, assuming that waste is a resource and a mass flow.
In its vision, OPRIMEE values the basic principles of Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, as well as Lavoisier’s notion of nature-based knowledge, in Designing Innovative Engineering Solutions.

Since its inception, OPRIMEE has made a significant commitment to knowledge and technology, having established the Lavoisier Corporate PhD Programme. This programme has already supported the completion of more than 10 PhDs and aims to remain an ongoing, in-house initiative dedicated to advancing new knowledge and technology.
